Last summer, 7-11 had a pretty unique promotion going on for the Slurpee with the addition of the Metal Straw. While it was a good partnership with the Slurpee, I fell in love with it after drinking a Peanut Butter Cup Milkshake from Steak and Shake with it. It had the perfect diameter for getting every chunk of candy into my mouth and never got close to clogging up. Honestly, the only downfall the 7-11 straw had was the questionably low price of .99 cents which makes me assume they manufactured the straw only in the unsafest of working conditions with all kinds of hazardous chemicals in the metal and paint. Yet one short year later, the metal straw has a professional counterpart for all of you drinking enthusiasts. This one even comes with a pre-bent 40° angle and is made out of good old, non-toxic titanium. Help save the planet, all while drinking out of something that looks like it came from the bridge of the Enterprise.
