Arby's Angus Deli Cool Wrap Review

The first thing you’ll notice about the Angus Cool Deli Wrap is its laid back personality. The chilled wrap is as refreshing to eat as it is to see on the Arby’s menu, despite the $5+ price. Wallet deflation aside the Angus Cool Deli Wrap is a delicious mess. Whole grain flat bread surrounds and contains some of the finest ingredients I’ve seen a fast food joint stuff inside its edible minions.

The problem with top notch items like these is they cost a pretty penny, so everything boils down to proportions. For every dollar spent I expect a substantial increase in flavor variety and tastiness. Let’s say H = $X(X^2) where H is equal to “how much I ought to enjoy this” and X is the numerical representation of Arby’s robbing me. Considering the Angus Cool Deli Wrap costs $5 there should be some level 125 enjoyment taking place, which is just shy of the pleasure involved upon successful location of your lost keys. So does it exceed mathematical equation expectations?

One thing’s for sure: vegetable lovers like myself will appreciate the barrage of textures and flavor surrounding the premium Angus roast beef. There’s a lot going on inside this wrap – Swiss cheese, banana peppers, pickles, red onion, lettuce, and tomato. And that’s not to mention Arby’s aptly titled “premium” Angus roast beef, lightly dressed with their sub vinaigrette and a helping of mayonnaise. The result is something you’d expect from Subway but with arguably fresher veggies and realer meat. The cool roast beef has a consistency that says “probably grade A, but at least grade B” while you chew it, and the complementary nature of the soft whole grain flat bread and crunchy vegetables makes every mouthful a flavor melee.

The Angus Cool Deli Wrap is sufficient enough in size that you’d be remiss to order more than one. Hell, I doubt the average person could down the combo and say they’re not stuffed. The average American perhaps, but this wrap is hefty enough that Arby’s boxes it up for you. Said box doubles as a spill-catcher so your pants stay dry and devoid of mayonnaise, and although I thank Arby’s for that, I challenge any food chain to produce a sandwich that doesn’t expel some sauce or fall apart three quarters of the way through eating it. When and if that ever does happen, if the contender offers deliciousness on par with Arby’s Angus Cool Deli Wrap it’ll easily take home an 8.

Wendy’s Cheesy Cheddar Burger

There are a lot of things you can do with a burger, but arguably one of the best is to add cheese. Not plain old American cheese, but Cheddar. Wendy's has made the attempt, but did they cheese it up right?

  1. Even if it’s expensive, I think that the rate of enjoyment is a matter of tastes.
