It’s a big day when an artist creates their own record label, and today marks that day in the long history of Wilco. Today brought the release of two new tracks from the band’s first release on their new label, dBpm. Side A is an original song with a much different direction from that past two albums entitled, “I Might,” while the B side is a cover of Nick Lowe’s “I Love My Label,” which is a stunningly appropriate song choice for the debut launch of the label. Wilco’s new album is entitled, The Whole Love and if you’re like me you’ll be anxiously awaiting for the September release date.

You've gotta be pretty audacious to name not only an album after yourself, but a song on said self-titled album. Either that, or they just really don't care at all, which seems a hell of a lot more Wilco to me than the former. ...
