I’ve been watching Entourage for quite some time, but seriously what was up with last season? Usually the show has been about most of the fun aspects of Hollywood, but they spent way too much time on Turtle’s love triangle and trying to draw interest to the on again, off again relationship of Sloan and E. And honestly for a big part of it, I couldn’t have cared less. But through the years the show has been a good source of mindless entertainment, and with two seasons and a movie being all that’s left in the cards, I’d like to stay with it through the end.
Since they basically started the season with chicks in their bras and then shortly after ended up at the set of Vince’s new film, so far so good. The director has an offer for Vince that becomes the basis of the episode – whether or not Vince should do his own stunts. And like they bring up, Tom Cruise does ‘em, DeNiro did them. Half the episode is everyone either trying to talk him out of it or, or telling him he’s a pussy if he doesn’t. Well guess what? He ends up doing it, and absolutely nothing happens. It’s really an anti-climactic conclusion, but It is much better to see them at least on a film set instead of watching Turtle crying over his girlfriend.
A nice Johnny Drama freakout is the always lovable answer to the B-story in this episode. After getting fired off of 5 Towns and realizing that NBC wants nothing to do with him anymore, he’s back to where he started and it’s scaring him as much as ever, which is always a great source of comedy. The bit of touching they did on Turtle’s new hot chick drivers business wasn’t really explained too well, and I wish they would touch a little bit less on who he’s hooking up with. It was much funnier when he was the dude who had to run around town to find weed for Vince. Overall the episode wasn’t too great, but definitely an improvement over the shithole last season turned into. This show shines best when it focuses on the industry and good times. It touched on that a decent amount this episode, let’s just hope the entire season can keep the focus there.

Agreed.
I think that Entourage is definitely past its prime but it keeps me entertained enough so I will keep watching.
