Now that I have a job at a Sweetbay grocery store, I’m starting to notice how amazing their in-house brand, Taste of Inspirations, is. For example, a few days ago I noticed these large, elegant looking bottles holding a variety of delicious looking liquids. They were all sparkling juices, and most of them lemonade, but some of them were exotic lemonade flavors, like Pomegranate Lemonade, or the one I tried, Blueberry Lemonade. Have you ever even heard of that before? I hadn’t.
At $2.99 for 32 fl oz of this stuff (and only 130 calories per serving (8 fl oz)), I decided to get it. From the first sip, it wasn’t really what I was expecting. The flavors tasted natural, and it actually tasted like Blueberry Lemonade, but it seemed like they put those natural flavors into a syrup and then used too much of it, resulting in a slightly thicker and more intense tasting beverage. It’s still delicious, albeit a wee bit over the top. But the flavor is pretty accurate, and it has a pleasant aroma and taste. Plus, it’s Blueberry Lemonade; there probably aren’t a myriad of other options.
The more Taste of Inspirations products I see at the store, the happier I get, because they’ll provide a plethora of interesting reviews. How can you go wrong with a company that makes Buffalo Chicken Sausages? Have you ever heard anything so glorious? Although I would’ve rather had this without the carbonation, their sparkling lemonades are definitely worth a try, if you’re in the vicinity of a Sweetbay or a Hannaford store.
