Ladies and Gentlemen, I’d like to start this review by giving you some backstory about me that I’m sure you’re desperate to know. For the majority of my life, vegetables and I haven’t gotten along together very well. Potatoes are good. Corn’s great. There are a few others I like, but not many. While Public Enemy #1 is lettuce, I have always disdained tomatoes. Having said that, when I set eyes upon the Cali Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza and noticed that there was a gratuitous (any is gratuitous in my opinion) amount of large tomato chunks atop it, I wasn’t thrilled.
And this is where we come to a turning point in the story. I just ate it anyway. Aside from how amazing I’m about to tell you that this pizza is, I can tell you that after one piece, I was looking forward to the bites with the tomato chunks more so than the chicken and/or the bacon, both of which I’m quite a fan.
Maybe that was excessive, maybe not, but the Cali Chicken Bacon Ranch is perhaps the perfect pizza. Sporting said tomato chunks, chicken, bacon, cheese, a plethora of herbs and spices, and a white, relatively Italianish sauce, the pizza puts off a mouth-watering aroma that hits you as soon as you open the box. There’s no red sauce, replaced by the white sauce I so aptly described earlier, so it even feels different than a normal pizza.
They advertise the crust specifically in the commercial as being covered in cheese. Well, there’s certainly more than normal, but I wouldn’t call it covered by any means. Minor issue though, the crust is actually great; it’s crispy and buttery, and chewy in a good way.
The herbs blend with the cheese and the sauce to create a unique flavor that, with the added Southern tinge that the Bacon adds, is relatively unmatched in pizza. The tomatoes add a tangy flavor to the mix, the effect of which is a lot like mixing white and red pasta sauces. I’m highly impressed by this pizza, and it also helped me broaden my tasticular horizons. For what it is, it’s perfect.

>This is a great description for a great pizza. This was the first American Legend I've tried, and it was so amazing, that it's the only one I care to order. I don't want to be disappointed by the others because I know they will be compared to this pizza. Easily the best pizza I've ever so much as smelled.
>I have to echo everything the first poster said. I had never tried any of these, and went looking for reviews. This one sold me, and I ordered it tonight. Love it! Great pizza and exactly as advertised in this review. Dominoes should pay you a salary
I love white sauce in and all around my mouth.
