Considering that spike uses no sugar in its products there is no sugar crash and the amino acids that they have added to the shot help to prolong the energy rush.
Of course there are always downsides to everything, but luckily the list for this product is relatively short. I drink one of these every day. I love it, no other shot gives me anywhere near as much energy..
I do wonder about the long term side effects however.
